Well, it has been a simply hellish day at the office. Suffice to say that I’m planning on heading home and taking a nice long hot bath as soon as possible. That and catching up on some of my letters. Apparently certain old friends of mine think that if I don’t write them every other week, I’ve forgotten all about them! Still, I shouldn’t complain. Writing to my old school mates keeps my mind off of other troubles, after all, and helps my brain unwind after two weeks of wrestling with absolutely intractable problems.
Speaking of intractable problems, I believe I need to speak with my choir director tomorrow. He doesn’t like us to miss practice without any notice, and it simply wouldn't due to be kicked out before our big concert because I forgot to tell him I was going to be out of the country for the next week or so. The piece we’ve been working on this week is simply beautiful. If anyone wants to attend, I’ll be sure to drop you a note about when and where!
And it is a simply beautiful day today, as long as I’m in the mood for counting my blessings. On my way to work I could see that the sun was shining, there wasn’t a single cloud in the sky, and the birds are finally starting to sing again every morning. Also, none of my neighbors have been attempting to drive me crazy lately. Bless their hearts, but I sometimes think they forget they’re not the only ones in the building, the way they blast their music or scream at the top of their lungs. Ah, well, I guess I shouldn’t complain. A loud thump on their wall or a yelled reminder that other people are trying to enjoy some peace and quiet is usually enough to get them to stop.
- Man three doors down having issues with his wife. Intervene? - Pros = less yelling in long run - cons = possible problems with “interfering” - Dumbledore seems worried. Death Eater pardons, or something else? Must keep better eye on the news, muggle & wizarding - Should get back in touch with s.o the old order. Get reacquainted and such
